Truth
But thats why you mix a 1/8 ratio of fast burning flash powder with smokeless powder. for Improvised ex.p. ...this creates a fast burning powder that quickly pressurizes any capsule/container its in and helps to create maximum gas volume and pressure = High velocity failure of capsules. This is the same concept used by American Tank Ammunition where the Primer is a "case" of nitrocellulose based explosive that lines the inside of the "shell" and inside the primer its filled with smokeless black powder thats known for its output of nitrogen and carbon dioxide when burned. But its the Nitrocellulose explosive going off at high heat that burns the high volume black powder at a instantaneous rate creating a super high volume of gasses all travelling one way , propelling the projectile to super velocities with relatively low fouling of the barrel.
Love how they show shooting a crow, with a car driving behind.. christ, did they not bother thinking what would happen if he missed or the bullet overpenetrated?
Calmly informative. Well done
His wife is still mad he used all her hair spray.
How to legally use a flame thrower in the army. Flame throwers are cheap just buy a $2 hair spray and have a lighter.
The old adage if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, proof’s in the pudding. 100 yr old calibre still relevant today, been shooting it near on 50yrs, kicks like a mule sometimes but not like a magnum.
Hey is your CEO still making everyone there get the Vax if they want to work for Hornady?
I think the flame can blow back into the can and explode the can
The curly maple furniture on that Garand...
Too late. Did all this at home as a kid
Boys, mostly, really liked using their mother's hair spray and matches in the 1960'S. I stopped babysitting for mother's who had hairspray in their home.
Note: the hairspray thing is dangerous. One of my dad's friends cut some sheet metal in his garage and then went to paint it with a spray can; the metal was hot enough to ignite the paint and the can exploded like a grenade and filled him with metal shrapnel.
I can tell you why the grouping is so hard, their aint no counter boar on the end of that rifle!
Yeah can we get some freaking large rifle primers, please for the love if all things.
Tell us why you switched small rifle primers to Large rifle primers in the Hornady black for the 450 bushmaster without telling your customers about it? You screwed every reloader out there. Your reputation is now crap. You sold Ammo outside the Sammi spec. and made NO announcement. Tell us how that innovation and improvement is in Line with company policy. B.S.
Great experiments for your bedroom in your parents house if you don’t believe this boomer.
Before mass shootings, tradition, respect, values, safety. Now look at us.
Rip headphone users
Old recordings tend to sound like that. Something about the old monitors or equipment made that noise.
Sorry yall didn’t design or do anything. This cartridge is just a 6.5 Grendel necked down to 22 cal. People have been doing this long before yall. Start giving credit to these people instead of taking what’s theirs and taking credit for it by simply necking something down.
it’s like that scene from Aliens: “marines, this location is a fusion reactor, please turn in your cans of Aquanet!”
I just ate some chocolate chip cookies from shit Donalds, boy I can't wait to take a shit and it's gonna feel good!
Who tht man in da red?!??!
I figured that stuff out by the time I was 10, hairspray, rattle can spray paint, any number of automotive sprays...fun stuff!
Come make ammo in West Virginia Please! We have some of the best firearm laws in the USA.
Haha great answer!
Love these older videos
CCI primers for me. Hornady my favorite bullets
I see the comment bots are out in full force today
Except now ground new box ammo is WAY cheaper than reloading….😢😢😢
Not really
Depends on what you shoot.
I've never encountered a more supportive online community. It's like having a cheering squad for intellectual exploration.😻
Bro this is 2018! PS4 platform. How is it possible that Blackout, in some respects, has better visuals that MW3?! 💚🍓
What?
I wasn’t big on black out I’m big on war zone but I miss the classic multiplayer in older cod 💞✨
You are so brave ✨🍓
Back when fire was fun.
Dude is fearless
Batteries out of all smoke detectors in that dudes house... (Mine are all in guitar pedals..)
Aerosol cans back then used propane or beautated for propelent
This dude gets excited reading the phone book
And then we light more gun powder next to the jet fuel….he’s cracking me up. What happened to being safe??
Accuracy does just happen. But only rarely, when lots of luck is involved. Every other time, it takes work and skill. But luck can be a game changer when it on your side
unfortunately, many decades ago, fissile material got a bad reputation...
How old is this? I must have seen this when I was a kid.
Joyce Hornady is cool! Can you post more videos with him in them?
He’s the Mr. Rogers of reloading safety.
We need more chill dudes like this.
My man playing with a flame thrower with gun powder all around him
This guy is a pyro lmao
Hear that ladies that use hairspray . It is dangerous, guess you will have use starch to keep that big hair in place .
